Video – Humpback whale gets trapped in Sohar Port

Video has emerged of a humpback whale that became trapped inside the waters of Sohar Port in Oman.

According to officials, the whale entered the port on Monday. The video below was filmed from a ship conducting berthing operations at the port.

Imagine Cruising Dubai launches special deal for Queen Mary 2’s 2018 Singapore-Dubai voyage

Imagine Cruising Dubai has put together a special deal for Middle East cruisers wanting to experience Queen Mary 2’s voyage from Singapore to Dubai next year.

The flagship of the Cunard fleet, Queen Mary 2 will depart Singapore on April 4th, 2018 bound for Dubai, where will arrive on the 18th of April. The 15-night voyage is being sold as a 16-night package with flights and a one night stay in a four star hotel in Singapore included.

Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian reportedly in talks to homeport in Dubai

Cruise Arabia & Africa discussed the Dubai Harbour project’s impact on cruise tourism in the region earlier this year, and now there are reports that the project is seeing results already with four of the world’s largest cruise lines considering homeporting in Dubai.
