Cunard includes Dubai and Cape Town departures in 2021 World Cruises

Cunard Line will be sailing two World Cruises in 2021 and will be offering departures from both Cape Town and Dubai as voyages that can be booked separately to the World Cruises themselves.

The two World Cruises will follow eastbound and westbound itineraries. While Queen Mary 2 will sail east from New York or London, Queen Victoria will sail a 112 day voyage west from Hamburg.

“In 2021, Queen Victoria embarks on a complete western circumnavigation of the globe, via the Panama Canal, to Australia and around Africa’s Cape of Good Hope,” Cunard says of the World Cruise. “Visiting 33 ports, there are overnights in San Francisco, Honolulu, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Cape Town.”

Queen Mary 2’s voyage meanwhile, will visit 31 ports. “In 2021, Queen Mary 2 sets sail on an East-West journey of global exploration to Australia, via South Africa, then back to the UK via the Suez Canal. Calling at 31 ports, she’ll spend overnights in Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Cape Town,” says Cunard.

The Hamburg to Hamburg, 112-night World Cruise aboard Queen Victoria will set off on January 8th, 2021. Full details of the other embarkation ports and duration options can be found here on the Cunard website.

Her Cape Town departure, cruising from South Africa to Southampton in the UK, will set sail on April 14th, 2021 and be booked as either a 15-night ending in Southampton, or a 17-night ending in Hamburg.
