Seabourn has announced that it is including its February 11th, 2018 cruise from Cape Town aboard Seabourn Sojourn to its 2018 Signature Savings Event, which means that South African cruise passengers can benefit from a range of value-added benefits.
The 2018 Signature Savings Event is applicable to select Seabourn cruises in 2018 and 2019 and features savings and an array of value-added amenities such as a complimentary upgrade from ocean view staterooms to a veranda suite, an extra US $500 in on-board credit per cabin, 15% discounts on combination cruises and a 50% reduced deposit.
Guests who book a Penthouse or Premium Suite on select voyages (Seabourn Sojourn’s Cape Town cruise departure included) will also receive a US $1,000 shipboard credit per suite.

Seabourn’s newest cruise ship, Seabourn Ovation, will sail its maiden cruise from Venice on May 5, 2018.

The cruise line’s Cape Town departure on February 11th, 2018 is a classic Grand Cruise of 36 days from the Mother City to Singapore, visiting islands in the Indian Ocean and the exotic and ancient port cities of Southeast Asia.
The cruise can also be booked as a 20-day voyage from Cape Town to Male in the Maldives.
Seabourn Sojourn is 198m and 32,000 GT, but carries just 450 passengers, making her one of the most spacious in the world’s luxury cruise fleet. Launched in 2010, she is the flagship of Seabourn, and was the second newbuild for the cruise line in over a decade.
Seabourn Sojourn features a two-deck spa facility spanning 11,000 square feet (1,000sqm), two outdoor swimming pools, and six outdoor whirlpool spas.

The ship has four restaurants and six bars and cafes with a combined seating capacity for over 800 people, almost double the ship’s passenger capacity.
All of her speciality restaurants are complimentary including The Grill by Thomas Keller, reminiscent of the classic American restaurant from the 50’s and 60’s.
Exclusive to Seabourn, The Grill is a unique culinary concept for Chef Keller, focusing on updated versions of iconic dishes. Guests will be treated to table-side preparations of Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes, as well as a range of other favorites like premium steaks, whole roasted chicken, and Lobster Thermidor, presented à la carte.
In many of the smaller, remote islands of the Indian Ocean on her Cape Town cruise she will deploy a fold-out marina that provides water sports facilities for passengers to practice several different aquatic sports.
There are also entertainment shows provided by British company Belinda King Creative Productions, including ‘An Evening with Tim Rice’, the new evening entertainment experience created exclusively for the line.
